Brittny Schanzenbach

Legal Assistant

Brittny grew up in a small, agricultural community in north-central South Dakota. After high school, she attended Northern State University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminal Justice in 2014. Since then, Brittny has had the opportunity to hold many different positions; including an internship with the Department of Corrections at the South Dakota State Penitentiary, Residential Counselor at a Psychiatric Treatment facility for juveniles, Deputy Clerk Magistrate for the Butte County Clerk of Court, Social Worker with the Wyoming Department of Family Services, and Criminal Clerk for the Campbell County Circuit Court. Brittny joined our team as a Legal Assistant in February and will primarily be tasked to help manage the Personal Injury side of the firm with Steve.

Brittny moved to Gillette in 2016 and has really enjoyed the change from South Dakota. In her spare time, you will find her spending time with her boyfriend and their four-year-old son; they enjoy traveling, fishing, spending time in the Bighorn Mountains and the Black Hills, among other things. Brittny is an avid plant collector and enjoys helping at a local flower shop as a floral designer when she is able.
