Christa Cushon, J.D.
Experienced Wyoming Legal Assistant
Initially from the Seattle, Washington area, Christa attended college on Oahu at Hawaii Pacific University. While in college she worked in the pharmacy and served as the managing editor of the school’s literary magazine.
Christa left Hawaii to attend law school in Portland, Maine at the University of Maine School of Law. Throughout law school Christa worked as a law clerk at a prominent local criminal defense firm with a focus on felony and federal cases. Christa served as a student attorney at the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic representing juvenile clients in state courts in a variety of criminal matters. She was also chosen by a panel of her professors to argue criminal cases before a panel of judges in New Jersey and before the Maine Law Court.
In her free time Christa enjoys playing rugby, collecting and tending to her tropical plant collection with a special interest in unique and rare plants, and taking her rescue dog Charlie to the park.
